A wonderful model both in blue and green. I liked that DM made just enough changes to justify buying both colors.
Another beauty from DM. Love the pics of course.

Bob, your comment "just enough changes to justify buying both colors", brings up an interesting point. Not sure how others feel, but I was always eager to buy other colors (we refer to them as repaints here on the Forum). It's always been my thought that back in the day, cars came in many colors, and going to a dealership showroom or car lot, one could see their favorite cars in various color choices. For that reason, when the mints gave us a "repaint", I was quick to place my order.
I know some collectors have passed on a second color, or even worse, passed on the original color release, with hope of the model being re-released in "the color they wanted". Sadly, some collectors missed out on a model all together because of that, as most often the mints did not always do repaints.
So for me, bring on the repaints. And in the case of this beautiful BUICK wagon in Blue, yes there some minor changes from the original Green version, but I'd have bought it even if there weren't. It's one of DM's best models ever! GREAT PHOTOS JOHN!

I love the blue version. Perhaps Goldvarg might consider this color for their upcoming Buick Woody wagon?
Beautiful Buick ! My 1:1 Roadmaster's Estate is a bit newer (1996) but it's still a "woody" style station wagon.
I mentioned to my wife about my "repaint" post above and she said she didn't even realize that I had bought other colors of models. Guess you'd get that she supports my hobby, but doesn't get in to it like I do.

George, we are truly lucky guys with wives who like our little cars. Many times we will be watching a movie and I'll say that I have a model of a certain car...her reply is always the same..."i'm not surprised".
John, Great shots. I do not have either of these. Came out during a slow income time.
