Unless everyone is growing tired of seeing the Impala models from WCPD, I have a few more to feature.
Today's post is what I believe to be a rarer example of this exquisite model offering. In my conversation w/Brian many years ago he indicated that far fewer than the 250 proposed were actually built. I put a number of 140 in my database, but I remember Brian saying it was even less than that. No matter, I do know that I've seen very few and they next to never come up for sale on the secondary markets. How many others are out there among our collectors? Of the colors chosen for the '62 Impala, for me, this is the most unique and interesting one offered.
1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 Convertible, LE #085 of 140 in Twilight Turquoise.

Grow tired?....are you kidding me! No chance. This color for the convertible '62 Impala was one of my favorites....kind of a tropical effect.
Wonderful pictures. Again you are rubbing it in that I missed some fantastic models.

That's exactly how I feel about the color, very tropical. I can really see this sitting on a sandy beach road with the sun shining and with the ocean in the background.
