This model was made by the Danbury Mint for the 100th Anniversary of the Ring's End Lumber Company, 1902-2002. A Limited Edition of 300.
The model was originally built for use internally by the Ring's End Company for their anniversary, but as with all things, a few have made it out to the rest of the model world via eBay. Which is where I found my example.
This model is based on the 1933 International Stake Flatbed Truck, which was an amazing model already, and this one takes that amazing to a whole new level.

DM did their usual excellent job in making such a finely detailed model. You've done your usual excellent job of photographing it!
Amen Brother !!!!......Perfect photos of this spectacular specimen
I remember when you bought that John, fantastic to have such a unique piece in your collection, and your pics really show it up so well.
Excellent pictures John. I'm sorry that I wasn't aware of this model because it looks great.
Just had another click through, love it, and its "provenance". I cannot recall DM making any other one offs like this. Did they do any? Tony? perhaps someone else with a better memory than mine?
They did Geoff. We were asked not to chronicle them on the Reviews & Car Lists. Not the same for the FM. They were commissioned by a lot of independents from Harrah's on down the line.
Gotta love that truck and the pics too!
