OK, I thought I'd have a little fun and tease you with a bit of an April Fool's joke-I suppose it was a bad one. Sorry about that.
This is what I had really planned for today, a change of mind at the last minute this morning when I was getting the post ready. In 1992, the Franklin Mint issued their 1st '57 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Retractable Hardtop, it came in Flame Red & Colonial White. That was followed a few years later by another, in 1997 and it was Raven Black & Colonial White. In 2002, a Limited Edition was released from an Independent Retailer, it was in Starmist Blue & Colonial White, and the 4th, another LE version was issued in 2006, it was in Coral Sand & Colonial White. Three of these models were issued before DM issued their 1st one, which they followed up with two more. So, if you are into Ford's Retractable Hardtop, seven color options are available to choose from.
I have all of them, and while DMs are certainly packed with more details than their FM counterparts, I still like each one for what it brings to the collector. I am going to feature the 3rd release from FM in this post.

WOW! This is an FM I've never seen. Great photos! I've got the Red/White FM version and from DM the Green/White and Black/Red versions.

Have it, love it. I always thought that DM should have done the T-Bird in Starmist Blue
