One final Crown Victoria from Franklin Mint. I kept this one for last because I needed a nice spring day with plenty of sunshine to post it. The "Bumble Bee" color combination always reminds me of a bright spring day, and I've got one of those this morning. A bit chilly but the sun is bright, and the sky is blue.

It is one of my favorites! The color combo is an attention getter whether one likes the car or not. Years ago there was a lady that owned a Crown Victoria just like this one, and she was referred to as "The Bumble Bee Lady". But she wasn't always popular because she would get upset if "her car" didn't win an award at the shows. Many times it was explained to her about the audience that votes, the class her car is in, other competition, and whatever other factors that were in play, but she just get loud and vocal if she didn't win. Sadly, it got to the point where people wouldn't vote for her car, just because of her attitude.

@georgeschire She was obviously not a true "car person" then as in my experience the vast majority are very supportive to one another and good natured. IMHO she owns the car for the wrong reasons.
John, great photos of the one of 3 FM Fords I do have.
First & foremost - exceptional pics John! You always do such a great job.
I loved this model for a long time and, regretfully sold it when DM issued their '55 in the same colors but in Sunliner (convertible) configuration. Like a dope, I sold that one too.
Great color combo, pics and background.

I would never enter a car in a car show where the audience judges (people's choice) the cars...most of the audience does not know anything about judging cars. In this case the audience judged the owner and not her car.

I don't disagree with you. The story goes a little farther than what I shared above. The Bumble Bee Lady's problem was brought on by own behavior. She would be loud and obnoxious throughout the show, even telling people that they have no reason to NOT vote for her. And a few of the shows I was at, there were cars in her class that won, that were legitimately worthy of the competition. When she didn't win, she would very loudly tell people that they didn't vote for her because she was a woman and then at one show she claimed that the judges were against her. Me? I liked her car, but she was a piece of work.
