Another Thunderbird model from my collection. This one is from 1959. When DM issued these models, they also had a solid white hardtop, which I passed on at the time to get this one. I figured I'd be able to add it later; it didn't last long enough to do that. Today, it's a very rare model and hard to find at a decent price. Of the two, I preferred the colors on this model. Unfortunately, mine arrived missing the Thunderbird script on the left side, I didn't catch it when it arrived and when I re-opened the model for display, it was too late to get a another from DM. I hoped to find a replacement script someday but never did.
