Two of the three '66 Ford models in my collection...
1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7-Litre Hardtop - Automodello,
the Standard LE #12 of 299 in Nightmist Blue
the Enthusiast LE #12 of 19 in Wimbledon White

Both nice but I do prefer this one in white. Thanks John.
I have it in red. Combined with yours we have a patriotic combination.
Waiting patiently for this beautiful car to be done in 1:43.
I've never understood the "window's up" on the right side thing. Just makes no sense! The whole purpose of a hardtop was all window's down. Why Automodello does this on all their models is perplexing to me, and a big turn-off as well.

@georgeschire George I believe it is so you can show it either way. Personally, I like the car, but the price point for a static model does not sit well with me.
Love both of these cars...great pics of course.

I was able to pick up a red MIB example cheaply on the local ebay. Its nice.

I get the reason you state, but I seriously question why would I (or anyone) want to "show" the car with the windows up? To each their own I guess, but I would never show a car with the "window's up". And your point about it being a "static model", even makes the windows up on the riders side, even more perplexing.
Being able to show a detailed interior of the model is the only remaining good thing, since the other amenities are no longer available. As for the price, that too, makes me personally very, very selective of whether I'd buy one or not.
Once again I repeat what I've asked many times over the last decade, it is sad that we are unable to get a decent 1:24 scale replica without having to take out a second mortgage on our homes to get them.

I have the red one as well. It is by far, my least favorite of the three. The chrome trim around the wheel wells started lifting off. Fixing it just didn't work, so I removed it.
