John, that's a beautiful model Challenger in blue. IMO, Dodge hit a Grand Slam in '70 with the Challenger. Summer of '74 my sister, who was 19, bought a '70 S/E in Plum Crazy w/black vinyl top. It had less than 20K in mileage. She was ecstatic !

Absolutely beautiful John. I have the red version and the Philly Mint Vanishing Point version. They are super sweet.💯

@geno

I had the Philly Mint one too. Sold it here to, I think, Gavin. He was always a gentleman to deal with. 👍 Thanks Gavin. Steve in SoCal

Geno, please refresh my memory. Were the Philly Mint Challengers a numbered edition?

John, great photos.  But I do not remember ACME building a 1/24 Challenger for Danbury.  I thought ACME only did 1/18 scale models.

@100ford2003 Steve, I agree with the first year Challenger being a grand slam.

I have 10 Challengers on my shelves.  I could have 10 times 10 more and I'd still be wanting more.  Love 'em!

totally agree George, I rate their design as the epitome of the American muscle car. I have 4, 2 M2s and 2 FMs. M2 have come out with a number of new colors and variations over the last couple of years. Great value at around $40.

thanks as always for your great pics John
