Welcome back John, after a couple days being gone. WOW! Your choice for "Model Dose" features two of my favorite Ford cars. I know the styling is iconic, but even if it wasn't, they'd be tops with me. I have both models you share and also DM's Red version of the '40 and the convertibles too. When I go to summer car shows, if there is a '39 or '40 there, I'm all over it.

Here's the first edition '40 Ford Deluxe from way back when. Pretty nice for its day from DM.
