Thank you John....whenever I shoot a scene indoors,I`m reminded of your commentary on the the rigors of shooting outdoors in foul weather ..... I get up early each day,and ask myself "Would John Merritt go outside on a day like this ?"......to your credit,you always answer along the lines of "certainly not!!!"
Good answer. Funny you mention this today, it was just yesterday that I considered going outside for a photoshoot. The lighting was perfect. I went out to looks things over and decide where to set up, but the wind kicked up and that ended that.
I remember just a few years ago, going out in the snow, fashioning a scene, setting things up and crawling around on the ground for the photos. Boy, was I crazy or what!
