The end of the C1 Corvette models come with the '61 & '62 models. These are DM models as well; I don't believe FM every issued any model in these two years.
DM issued two '61 models, the 1st was the one pictured here in Ermine White w/Sateen Silver Coves. The 2nd was from the LE Annual Corvette Collection in Jewell Blue. Unfortunately, my example came w/a broken rear bumper (I have a replacement bumper-just never made the repair). I never took any acceptable photos of it.
Despite the bland shade of color in the Ermine White model, it is one of my favorites in the C series.
DM offered the '62 in three colors, Roman Red, Tuxedo Black & Sateen Silver
the 1st in Roman Red, for whatever reason, is not included in my photo database, I'm sure I took photos -??. Anyway, here's a couple with the WCPD '62 Impala in the same color.
Next up for DM was the model in Tuxedo Black, which has a far more formal appearance than the red one.
the final model issued was from the Annual LE Collection, it is Sateen Silver. When I received this model, I wasn't thrilled with the dog-dish hubcaps, so it became one of the very few models that I sold. A few years later, when a change of mind came over me, I reacquired another. Now I can't imagine why I sold it the 1st time.

I'm still stuck in Europe, when it comes to sports cars, but these are great models. Perhaps someday I'll make space for Corvettes, as well. Thank you for sharing your collection, Mister Merritt.
John, love your C1 Corvette series and your great pics.
