To be honest the styling of this era Merc doesn't grab me but the pink and black color combo really does something for this car and model.

I have both of these plus a reverse painted orchid and black.  They look so much better without the connie kits.

I have the blue convertible and the original red/white hardtop, and yes indeed they do look so much better without the connie kits.
