I was gone very early this morning and again tomorrow and I have no idea when I'll be home tomorrow evening. So, I am posting this tonight. Thanks for looking.
1953 & 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Sport Coupes - '53-SunStar, '54-Franklin Mint
John Merritt
South Lyon, Michigan - USA
A good looking duo!
George Schire
Oakdale, Minnesota
Even though they are built from basically the same body, the '53 looks so clunky compared to the svelte '54. Nice comparison John.
I love both years. The roof line and 2-tone paint application really work well on this car.
SunStar did a nice job with the ‘53.
David Vandermeer
Corinth, Texas
I have both of these and display them side by side. Like Jada, the Sun Star is a near precision image that can stand up to DM and FM for only a fraction of the cost. Love the pics of course.
John Bono
North Jersey
I have the FM hardtop in two colors and convertible in two colors. For some reason I never bought the SunStar in 1/24 scale but I do have them in 1/18 scale.
