I have started adding these items to hobbyDB, having noticed that the selections entered there are very minimal, and no 1964s models had been entered as of yet.

These models have long been out of production, having been issued in 2006 by WCPD. They were essentially the swan song of West Coast and quite an ambitious undertaking for the company. When the '64s were announced, Brian indicated that all 15 factory colors would be offered in both convertible and hardtop format with a LE quantity of 250 each, for those trying to do the math, that's a total of 7,500 models. So, 30 models, plus one more in a special LE of Tuxedo Black w/a silver/gray interior. That was a significant quantity of models to offer and in 2006, the 1:24 model industry was grinding down to a slow crawl, with far less models being introduced than just a few years previously. For the collector, especially this one, that meant a wealth of color choices, and we all know how I feel about color choice options.

Anyway, with my info in hand and my database facts in order, this was the 1st one I entered into the hobbyDB database.

1964 Chevrolet Impala SS/409 Convertible in Almond Fawn w/a killer brown interior and a light beige top. Mine is #201 of 250.

1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 04
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 11
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 06
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 26
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 18
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 25
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 28
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS C 29

WCPD had some wonderful models; such a shame they ceased production.

Models so great, so real.  Only sad that they couldn't continue to give us more.  Nice pics John!

Hats off to Brian and WCPD.

Love the '64 and the color combo. Great pics of course.

That is a great looking model. Do you think they actually made 7500 models?

@ed-davis

I am guessing not. Since I know many of the '61 & '62s were actually issued in less than planned. I'm thinking that the '64s were as well. Years ago, I had a conversation with Brian concerning the '61s & '62s and actually models issued, but the 64s weren't released yet, so I don't know anything.
