A New DM 1957 Chrysler New Yorker Hardtop??
Just when we thought (well, at least I thought) that we'd identified all the DM re-paints for 2010, here comes another. Included in the paper work accompanying my receipt of the 58 New Yorker Convertible today was a letter announcing that since I am now "one of the smart collectors lucky enough to own the 1958 Chrysler New Yorker Convertible," I am now eligible to order "a second museum quality replica of a Mopar classic...the 1957 Chrysler Hew Yorker Hardtop." This one apparently will be Regatta Blue with the Mist Gray accent stripe. I suppose that means the top will be the latter color as well. My own preference for the 57 Hardtop would have been Maroon with Black accent, but I can see why DM would not have chosen such a color as it'd be too close to the beautiful Maroon of the 58. No photo available per the letter.

I gotta admit, I am growing tired of cars of the 50's. Please bring on the 60's.

YES! There can NEVER be too many 57/58 Chryslers, IMHO. Sounds beautiful!!!!!!!!
