my favorite Ford racing vehicles of the '60s, like the Cobra and the GT40 were notably absent from the model world. Bburago had a diecast 427SC in 1/24 kit build that I detailed up and made a driver and passenger for but it wasn't all that accurate. Finally Revell Creative Masters released what, for the time, was two precision 427 SCs in stock and competition form (along with a GT40 Mkll) that I could proudly display for many years until FM's 1/24 lineup and Exoto's 1/18 series.
I love the Cobra, although I have never driven one unfortunately. I would guess that a hi-po 289 or 302 version would be even more fun to drive on the open road.
@jack-dodds I agree. Before I would drive a 427, I'd have to make sure my will was in order and then write a suicide note.

Me too, and thats for just getting out of the garage!
Fantastic detailed pics thanks Rich.
