A silk purse from a sow's ear Caddy [PIC]
Well, maybe not silk... fake keather maybe.
Anyway, I saw one of those $10 diecasts at a show and the overall shape wasn't bad. The interior was just one color plastic, but exterior paint was decent. It looked like a rich woman's car so I disassembled the model and did it up in pink with red piping. I did some faux wood finish on the dash and side panels, painted up the engine bay, did a little BMF where needed and put it back together. It ain't great but it is a Caddy image that I didn't have. I just took some pics on my work bench... nothing fancy.

Nice detailing! Is this 1947 by Jada? Never seen it before, but just run some searches.

You've done a nice job, Rich, with the Jada '47 Cadillac enhancement.
My attempt at doing something similar fought my efforts long and hard. Fitting a V8 repower from a DM 1941 Cadillac junker I bought from a parts seller trading on ebay was a challenging experience🙄
