DM's old but vaunted '31 Roadster. Extraordinary shot Galen! Perfectly composed. Not easy to take the top down and back up on a '31, as it is today. My easiest was my '72 Corvette which entailed sitting in the driver's seat, unlatching two windshield header latches and manually folding the top back into the rear cavity and pulling down the fiberglass panel. The easiest though is my SL550. I sit in the seat and hold a console mounted top latch back for 18 to 20 seconds and everything disappears above your head. Same again to reverse.

@perrone1 The top on my 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster operates on one switch which is located on the drivers door. The latching and unlatching are done manually but can be done from the driver's seat. I'm quite sure the MB setup is quicker than the 63 year old system in the T-Bird.

Yeah Bob, that sounds easy peezy like the Corvette only automatic instead of manual. But the Model A can be a bear! As YOU well know!
