Looks like one of my favorite old B&W movies.

Thanks Tony 😀 .....the old BWs are the last thing I see before nodding off to sleep each day.....last night`s fare featured a surly Darren McGavin as an old- time copper who "believes he can help a wayward youth just as a cop once did for him"

Love the B&W. I still watch the old B&W Andy Griffith shows. Once they went to color, lost Barney, .... IDK it just wasn't the same.

I`ve been watching some old tapes of the Dobie Gillis show while I eat lunch…..today,it was Rock-a-Bye-Dobie…..Episode 39 of season one……your old buddy Barney showed up along with the wonderful character actress Kathleen Freeman….this would have been shot in 1959,a year before Barney was deputized

@john-barry Ah yes, the Dobie Gillis Show. Wasn't there a beatnik named "Maynard" or something like that? Corny, but I was just a kid and there wasn't much to choose from on TV back then. The Donna Reed Show, Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver.
Bob the nitpicker here...the police cruiser is a 55 not a 57. Thanks for the memories of these early TV shows JB.

"police cruiser is a 55 not a 57"Â Â thanks Bob.....to one day become nit-less has long been my goal......this is easier to remedy than the suspension jobs you usually task me with
