Another project. Pics.
This is the M2 60th anniversary edition in riverside gold metallic, just going to dis-assemble it and do some extreme detailing, the color is amazing, a really nice model for the price.

Can't wait to see the final outcome. Are you going to post...
some step by steps? Would love it. And you're right, that is a super color.
Where did you get this M2?
John, these are Walmart exclusives, they had several the other day and I didn't pick it up then, I went back Wednesday and this was the very last one. I think someone may have had it hid because it was stashed behind a bunch of other stuff lol. They do have them on Ebay but not cheaper after you factor in shipping cost. A heads up, it did have a tampo on the roof which I removed.
I keep hearing these are available at WalMart, but I've never seen them at any of the half a dozen
WalMarts in my area. They've only got those little bitty, really tiny M2 cars. Don't know what scale they are, but they are way too small to be of any value.

The small cars you refer to George are 1/64 scale, if you're a collector of that scale they are pretty nice castings with opening hoods and doors. The only 1/64 that I have in my collection are M2, Autoworld, Greenlight, and Shelby Collectibles. I don't buy 1/64 anymore as I'm just focusing on 1/24 and 1/18. I do collect 1/43 but only Formula 1 race cars.
