Antenna on a DM L.E. 1960 Impala

Hi folks. Best advice on what to replace a broken antenna on a DM 1960 Impala? Awesome car, I just picked up in Horizon Blue but the antenna is broken but the base is still there. What to buy that looks like the best replacement? This is the ONLY thing that keeps this car from being one of the most perfect from DM I have every seen. WOW.

Brad - they came that way from DM - seriously - mine is the same and if you look at reviews you will notice they were all made without an extended antenna.

See here for pics and reviews:

Hmm...

Well Mark I kinda' thought that when I bought it. It looks like it has a ball end to it, like it is in the "down" position, but wasn't sure. Like an idiot...(I just got the car in yesterday)...I kept pulling at the base like I thought it was going to extend. Odd how the '59's have them proudly showing and this one doesn't. Thanks Mark.

The non-LE (white) '60 Chevy has a fixed extended antenna, but not the blue; it is in the down position.
