It is a beautiful car and model but well beyond my price range until I hit the Lottery any day now .......
Wow. Bidding war? It was a follow up to the two-tone gray coupe issued by DM 6 years prior. Not a limited edition but apparently no where near as many were released as the initial model. The blue, in person, is so much better looking than in these pics and most people who do own it, don't sell it! SO it is relatively rare when it comes up for sale and when it does, it goes for the BIG bucks.
I have both colors in this sedanette along with all the convertibles and station wagon. Some of DMs best. While I don't play with my models, the working suspension and double opening hood makes them great conversation pieces.
Yikes! I have this one but wouldn't sell it. Well, maybe.
wow that looks good. I grabbed the 2 tone grey version on release and dunno how I could have resisted your pics on this version Tony! The actual color should look like this:
thats remarkable hey Kevin? Someone paying an extra $450 a week later! Now I know inflation is taking off again but?@geoff-jowet Completed items from, I believe last week! Drats!
Bob, like you, I don't play with my models. They are much too delicate to be handled. IMO many of the operating features are a waste. The manufactures could have saved a lot of time and money if the features were omitted.I have both colors in this sedanette along with all the convertibles and station wagon. Some of DMs best. @sizedoesmatter I agree, I'm extremely happy with my curbside models. And I got them at way better pricing. Plus a couple are now pretty scarce, like these 2 Hachette models.💯😊
