I had to have this one, because of the color combo. It is gorgeous. This is another one of those toy show finds. In the box for a 20 dollar bill. I'd seen pictures of it before, but didn't realize how beautiful the color was until seeing it in person. No way was I passing it up, lol. After a good polishing, it really sparkles.😊

One of my faves. Photo'ed beautifully!

Got the perfect song for you; Sammy Kershaw - Cadillac Style.

Lyrics:

Well, I ain't Burt Reynolds and I ain't Tom SelleckI got bills up the pike and my car's an old relicI get Chevrolet pay, but I've got a big smile'Cause my little baby loves me Cadillac style
Well, I don't have a condo in Panama CityYou could say I'm a member of the Poor Boy CommitteeBut I kinda feel rich when I've been with her a while'Cause my little baby loves me Cadillac style
Well, about 10:30, Lord, she puts me in driveTurns all the lights down and man, alive! All eight cylinders are firin' in lineI'm never out of gas and I'm always on time
Well, I ain't Goldfinger and I ain't Joe FashionAnd you can't buy much with the checks I'm cashin'So, people if you wonder why I'm a-ridin' with a smileIt's 'cause my little baby loves me Cadillac style
Well, about 10:30, Lord, she puts me in driveTurns all the lights down and man, aliveAll eight cylinders are firin' in lineI'm never out of gas and I'm always on time
Well, I ain't Goldfinger and I ain't Joe FashionAnd you can't buy much with the checks I'm cashin'So people if you wonder why I'm a-ridin' with a smileIt's 'cause my little baby loves me Cadillac style
Yeah, my little baby loves me Cadillac StyleWell, my little baby loves me Cadillac style

@perrone1 Thanks Tony. I love the song and I've had that CD since it came out, lol. You don't hear much about Sammy anymore. A great musician indeed.

From 1989 to 1994, we lived in Nashville, before moving here to the Smokies in early 1994. During those years Shirl & I rented a small log cabin on the top of a hill near Cobbly Nob just east of Gatlinburg, that we used each summer. To get to it one had to cross a creek that ran through a golf course lower in the valley.

Sometime in early 1992 we spotted Sammy Kershaw on a bench near the creek. He had his golf club bag next to him. He was on my side of the car. I lowered the window and said, "Sammy Kershaw, right?" He smiled and said, "Yes!" "You OK?" I asked. He said that we was fine just waiting for the rest of his foursome. We told him we liked his music and the #3 hit at that time. Wouldn't you know it  -  it was "Cadillac Style"!  True Story! Cool

@perrone1 Man, what a cool story. I've got one of my own, I was in Nashville on vacation, I was walking down music row, walked into a music shop. I can't remember which one. Low and behold Vince Gill was sitting on a stool tuning a guitar. He was a friend of the owner, and the only other person in there. We only talked for a few minutes, but man, he was just like talking to a regular guy. A very personable man. And one hell of a voice.💯😊

Geno, that is a score...good going! Looking like the real thing in your setting. The '49 CDV is a standout. Happy to say that mine is proudly parked in my display.
