Thank you very much Geoff......the poles can be found all over ebay.....listed as Marx utility poles/Marx telephone poles or some variation thereof.....the height is 7" and they are often sold as "O" scale

the wires are simply lines drawn with paintpro in the bezier line type.....once I have the lines as I want them, I top a few of the spindles with glass insulators

thank you Bob......I copy/paste the glass insulators from ones I find pictured online.....re-sized,rotated and shaded appropriately, they are passable in my posted pics......as I got a few of these under my belt, I reduced the diameter of the cables considerably which is the reason you may see a marked style change between old v new photo sets
