From the tech team, "“We were able to work with WordPress support to get the site back online. It looks like there was a problem with the forum plugin that took the site down. We had to disable some of the forum add-ons temporarily until they can be fixed. I will troubleshoot the issue further tomorrow so we can enable the forum add-ons again.”

So no posting pics for now?
Doesn't seem to be working at this point. At least the site is up and answer posting is possible. (Looks as if attachments are viable)
It appears that the site is changing look in some format ways. With only a year and a half ago getting used to navigating the NEW site, and eventually liking it a lot by the way, I'm not liking that we might now have to learn some other new things. I come to this site to unwind and relax, and most of all to not have to think. Sorry, but that is being honest. The site was working so good! If it's going to change again, I may just be moving on. I'm too old to keep dealing with the internet every time "they" change things. My sincere kudo's to all working on the site, I know it is not an easy job sometimes.

Just did an image posting and it is back to working OK. The "Like" option on other posts is no longer at the bottom of an entry but up near the poster's ID. Not sure if that will revert back or not. Does not seem to be any other major divergences.

It appears that the notifications for who has "replied" to our posts is either missing or some place I'm not seeing it. This so so continuously frustrating. I live by the rule that something is working good, don't mess with it.

I am getting them still via Notifications at the top of the section (Bell icon on right) Also at the top of any discussion's first post is (Subscribe for new replies). It subscribes you to replies for that specific subject.
At 75 I, too, have long been a fan of, "If it ain't broke; don't fix it." So I understand your frustration. But apparently you did not realize this was not an exercise in change but a 'crash'. They have been involved in trying to fix it.
John, Tony, Tech Team, etc., Thank you for your efforts to get the site fixed. I appreciate all that you guys do to keep this no-cost Diecast Zone, which we all enjoy so much, up and running!

Tony, you are correct, I didn't know it was a "crash" and not "change" attempt. My sincerest apologies, as I overreacted with frustration, and voiced concern. This said, it now appears that the site is back up and running smoothly. I extend my THANKS to the tech team for their hard work and efforts in getting us back up and back to having fun.
