I first saw a Kaiser Darrin about 25 years ago at the Hershey Antique car show in the Fall.  It was that exact yellow color.  It instantly caught my eye as I had never seen one nor ever heard of it!   I then asked the owner about it and the sliding doors “sold me”. Neat little car.  Needless to say I’ve wanted a proper model since, so when I heard Automodello was releasing it and in yellow it was a MUST HAVE!   Thanks for the post, it brought back memories of happier times.

All beautiful models Rich. I love them all, but had to limit myself to just the two. The red & white are the ones I liked best, although the green is pretty sweet too.

All those pastel colors look great. It was all in all a great choice of image. I have a 1/43 Brooklin that I was happy with until these 1/24 just knocked it out of the park... and all choices on how to pose them was also a real treat.

Such a unique, creative car design. I have the champagne white red interior. All other colours are great too. I need to be very careful 'posing' the sliding door, the side mirror is easy to knock off. Automodellos free international shipping is such a great buyer incentive. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the 1968 Cadillac. Phil I believe you have it? Any other opinions welcome too please.

I thought the Caddy was still in development. I'm most interested also.

Are talking about the '68 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado Hardtop? If you are, I have one of those in Grecian White.

In my opinion, this is one of those models that is just "there" I am pleased to have it, but I am not thrilled with it. Unlike the Kaiser Darrin models, which are exceptional. I like the color, but the trim is just OK, it is lifting away from the body in a couple of places. I think the model sits too high, could be the wheels/tires are too big or just positioned too low in the frame. Speaking of the frame, it's not noticeable when displayed, but the model was crafted with a rear wheel drivetrain-not the front wheel that it should be. Not sure how that happened, but hey-nothing's perfect. I planned on getting the one in green as well, but after I received this one-I decided not to. One is enough.

The Grecian White is a good choice.
