The "Daily Dose' has been a part of my routine for so long, I can't remember when I first started.
So please forgive my absence in the posting of the "Daily Dose" of late.
My schedule has not been very flexible, and it looks to continue that way for some time yet. With that, my posting will become semi-regular for awhile.
Thanks for looking and for your understanding.

Did DM do any upgrades over the original Red/White model or is this just a repaint?

Unlike the red/white one this has no spinners wheel covers, two tone paint or spot light.

A lovely, colorful and very merry Rocket Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible for the finest in open-air automobubblin' down the road of life.  As that hound dog Johnny once said to Lucille, "You can go as far as you like with me in my merry Oldsmobile!" 😉 Lucille seems to be enjoying the thrust of Johnny's rocket: 🤣

Btw, we always miss you when you're away, Mr. Carnutz.  Guess we'll all have to step up and show off our own collections.

Great pics! For me, the '55 Oldsmobile was made for 2-tone. I'd feel created it I purchased the '55 Oldsmobile in a single color.

The solid color turned me off when I received it the 1st time, so much so that I sent the model back to DM. It was several years later when I had grown to appreciate the look that I went to find another one.
