this is a excellent model and pictured perfectly... a color I've not seen and thank you for todays share...
A mid-fifties classic. I haven't seen it in that color before.
Have it and like that DM changed the model by removing the Fiesta wheel covers and spotlight.
A forgotten model, as it doesn't show up often. Of course I have it, as being an Oldsmobile I'd have sold my first born to get it. Just kidding...but you get my point. I've actually seen a REAL '55 in this "One Tone" color scheme at local cars shows a few years back. it was drop-dead gorgeous!
GREAT PHOTOS JOHN!

And hey, I think I might have said this in a previous post (or two), but the Dash Boards on the '54, '55, and '56 Oldsmobile's, are in my opinion the best of any Fifties Dash Board on any other car. Man I love them!

This is my 2nd one. The color didn’t appeal to me the 1st time, sent it back.
My opinion changed and I wanted one, took me a minute, but I finally found one at a decent price.

OMG! Bob, when you pointed those changes, I had to run and look at my car. I honestly, for some reason never noticed the different wheel-covers before. Thank you for pointing that out. LOL, now I like the car even more, because it's different from the two-tone convertibles.

Great photos John, you have a way with your pics to enhance each subject by putting it's best features on display. I have this model in the Metallic Turquoise you've captured in this series of pics. The thing I appreciate about this particular diecast was Danbury Mints attention to detailing the interior. The crank handles for the windows really pop as does the entire dash panel as George pointed out. Thanks for the Daily Dose keep them coming.

Excellent observation. Keeping with the owners mindset to keep the cost down, no 2-tone, no spinners and no spotlight.
I like the color, but I always felt this should have been done as a 2-tone since the placement of the side trim screams out "2-tone."
