I'm glad I have this Chevy (and also the silver version) only because in my collection I have Chevy represented from 1954 through 1965.  But it's interesting that this particular Chevy from Franklin Mint, is probably my least favorite car in my collection.  And that's sad, because I like the '63 Chevy styling a lot.  So what's my problem?  Well, let me tell...

It's the darn "ride height" of the car!  It's just too high!  If that were righted, this baby would go from a least favorite in my collection to a most favorite.  What's ironic is, I actually think FM got the ride height correct, as on most real '63 Chevy's I've seen over the decades, the front end is always high.  Not a good look to my eyes.

1958 and 1963 are my favorite years for Impala. FM did an outstanding job on this model IMO.

Excellent shots John! With the greenery as a backdrop, that Chevy looks like a luscious tomato; a hot Super Stock tomato!

The red version pops and makes a much better presentation than the silver version. Great pics as we would expect.
