I kind of lost track of these posts, I promised to most more after the 1st two installments, but it slipped my mind. So here is the next group + "The rest of the story"
OK, these shots were a little more difficult. I had to climb the farm's water tower to
get them. Hey, anything for a good photo. Right?
From up there, the cars looked great. The Vettes from Merritt Chevrolet looked impressive
all lined up side-by-side. These shots also show a little bit of Farmer John's three cars.
The '62 Impala in the garage. His work truck, the '50 GMC (she runs great and works every
day-He says) The '48 Chevy is his as well. According to him, that one looks and runs better
than his wife's '62 Impala. "You can't trust them new cars" OK! What must he really think
of "New Cars"
I am armed with a little more info on a few of the cars in attendance. Farmer John does
his best to keep informed and has no problem sharing it.
Well, the '57 New Yorker belongs to the town's Real Estate Agent. "That guy's been trying
to get me to sell 250 acres of my farm for a new sub-division. Well I won't sell"
The '39 Ford Convertible Coupe is "A sweet ride" for a Ford. It belongs to the guy at the
grocery store.
The '67 Camaro was bought new from Merritt Chevrolet and is a pampered all original car
with only 10,000 miles. It belongs to my friend, which is the farmer John's nephew. I rode
here in it, very nice.
The last two cars I haven't talked about are the '66 Mustang GT, which is the Sheriff's,
and the '54 Eldorado. Now, Farmer John was very vague about that one. What I got from him was.
"That little gem belongs to a "Real Lady", a fine woman that catered to a town's needs. She's
retired now, but in her day she had a nice little house outside of town. A place a man
could go to relax and have a good time"
Well, I wasn't sure what to say to that, so I left it alone. It's a pretty car though.
I think that is the end of the story. I still have some group photos to post and, of course,
the individual shots. I will get to that as soon as I can.
Thanks for reading my narrative and looking at the photos. I appreciate it.
I do have about 20 or so more photos I took of the this "car show" so more to follow. Most of these have never been posted before.

Amazing and most wonderful pictures of a very fun car show.
You keep some interesting company, in Farmer John and his cronies. Very nice set of cars, and you can understand why the folks would be proud to show them off.
Your pictures are fantastic and the narrative brings them to life. Looking forward to seeing more!
brilliant set ups John.
......every nick, dent and paint chip tells a story....these cars display none of those "beauty marks"....
....it takes at least one intrepid photojournalist, willing to climb a water tower and finagle a farmer
swell story and pics John!
Loved all three of the "Small Town Car Show at The Farm" excellent pic's.
