OK, don't worry-we didn't just get all this snow here in Michigan. These photos were taken a few years ago-I was just never real thrilled with how they turned out. So with a bit more tweaking... I guess they are as ready as they will ever be, despite the weather change.

1984 Chevrolet Corvette Sport Coupe - Franklin Mint

1984 Chevrolet Corvette Cpe 3
1984 Chevrolet Corvette Cpe 2
1984 Chevrolet Corvette Cpe 5
1984 Chevrolet Corvette Cpe 7

1984 Chevrolet Corvette Cpe 1

very creative using the snow background to present this model, it's what the blue on the Corvette needed

John, many of you 1/24 scale car models are from Danbury or Franklin Mint.  When did these two companies produce these models?

I believe FM started producing model in the late 80s, the last one in my collection is from 2011. If they produced anything later, I'm not sure. DM also started in the late 80s and their last was from 2014.

Nope! And let me tell you, getting the darn thing out of the snow was sometimes a problem. Wink

My first Corvette was a '72 I bought back in the late 90s. Black on black, black walls, black everything... and no a/c. It came from up north. It was too damn hot to drive during the day down here!
