That's my favorite color combo of all the repaints. I don't know if I ever saw this combo back in the day, but it sure looks period.

This is one recolor that I regret not buying.  I have the black one but this 2-tone green is really nice.

I recall these brown and green 2-tone color combos were also available on the Ford sedan.  My friend's older brother had a Ford 2dr. sedan in the brown colors.  When he went away to College in his late teens he bought an Austin Healey "bugeye" Sprite, so left this Ford in his family farm barn, where it sat for many years.  Someone eventually heard about it and bought it to restore as it was a solid, rust free, accident free car.  Its rare that a teenager's first car ever survives!

I HAVE IT AND LOVE IT!  All of the Danbury Mint '49 Mercury's are parked on my shelves and all are among my personal favorites.  GREAT PHOTOS John!
