Danbury 1965 Thunderbird Sequential Turn Signals..........

Finally got this gif file to work. Loved those sequential turn signals back in the day.

thats the MOST awesome thing I've seen in awhile!!! LOLOLOL

GREAT work. You'd almost be hard pressed to know it's a model and not a video of a 1:1 GREAT WORK!!! The only critique I can make is the speed on the real cars is a bit faster. Anyway you could speed it up a tad?? THEN it would look exactly like a 1:1 I had a 65 Convertible and still own my '67 and they both had the sequential taillights! Smile

Thanks, Phil. I reset to 0.3 sec vs 0.5 - how does it look now? Wasn't sure how fast the 1:1 cars worked.

Awesome. I loved those tail lights on the T-Bird and now on the Mustang.

OK, it is set to 0.15 sec now. Check it out and let me know. Seems pretty fast but I can't recall the last time I saw a working 1:1.

So does my 2009 Challenger, but sequences 4 lights per side instead of 3. (Mopar kit)

Mark I just checked out a few 65-68 Tbirds on utube

Just to check out the speed. I think 0.2 will be perfect lolol. As I thought the speeds did vary. FYI the way the sequential signal worked on the earlier cars was as follows ..... There is s box in the trunk with a bunch of wires going to it and a small electric motor. The motor spins a wheel that has contacts on it. Each taillight bulb makes contact at some point as the motor is spinning. Pretty simple system and the one in my 67 was original and worked fine as of about 5 years ago. Hasn't been started since but I'm fairy sure it will work still. That said its a dependable system ! Great work and Fun post!!! Thanks so much 👍👍😍
