Diecast Interiors
Hello All,
Was just wondering what you guys used for leather, vinyl and plastic care on the interiors (exteriors?) of your cars?

Tony, your question would almost suggest that we build these models. If you're familiar...
... with diecast models, you'll know that with rare exception these models are already built by the manufacturer. When we purchase them, the materials used are selected and presented by the manufacturer. Except for very high end models, rarely are they real materials like leather. In most cases, they are plastic or vinyl.

For the vinyl and plastic interiors plain soap and water..
..does a good job of cleaning. For the models that DM & FM have made with real leather, an automotive leather cleaner/treatment works well to clean and preserve.
Small brushes, Q-tips, and the like, are invaluable.
A search may turn up a GMP Cleaning kit made by them years ago. It has all essential cleaning products for the scale auto!
