..." so true "...can still remember " hitting the gas " on my uncle's '65 455 Buick Wildcat 4-dr. HT at 16 or 17...wow !!
That must be rare...just made a purchase from Dan!
By the way...any more trucks for this list???
I'm waiting for a White Texaco tanker bank by DM; anyone ever see this one?
I love my DM 1940's Bomb Squad Panel Truck and the 1996 Ford SnapOn PickUp!

This model isn't spectacularly rare, but it sure is nice....
compared to the DM and CMI LEs( I assume that's the red one your're referring to). I haven't seen them on auction in quite a while. Perhaps most have finally found permanent homes. Here it is in the background.

John, the one I received in `91 was the white version.
I always thought that the instrument panel on these models were very realistic in appearance. Also have a CM version in silver, one of 100. I thought that when the silver model was offered, there was also a red version LE of 100.
Actually I was referring to the white one but the LE is nice too exept for the 1959 Hubcaps.
I Have The White DM Too, But . . .
. . . I don't know if it's the original or the reissue. Does yours have the real leather seats and belt? Does it give the year on the bottom?
And yes, CMI made two SSKLs --- a silver (LE of 100) and a red one (LE of 80). Got 'em both.
I just need that rare red one. I don't even know whom produced it. PMA?
Sound like some nice ones, too, Johan!!
I don't have many pre-war cars, but, as I said, somewhere, earlier, I'm getting to " see the light ", in regsard to the hidden beauty of these era cars. The few 1/1's which I've seen, were the reason for my change of heart...another growth spurt, on my part, I guess, as far as collecting is concerned.
Steve, my blue '53 Skylark was one of the first cars I purchased but it still grabs my eye.
Wish they'd do a '54 Skylark or Century to keep it company.
The bright red '53 Skylark LE with convertible top is another attention getter.

DM 1948 Buick Roadmaster Sedanette
This thing is just beautiful -- my favorite among the 1/24 diecasts I've bought. The two-tone gray paint scheme is elegant, and perfectly suited to the car's graceful lines.
Don't have it, but, I think it's a nice one, too!! I'd like one, please.
