FM's venerable Lincoln Continental Convertible was pretty nice for tech dating back to 30 years or so. Reissued as the years went by, I kinda liked this Darian Blue Poly model. FM added scripts and badging to this model as well as some paint detailing which also made it more desirable. I always hoped some one would make Sonny Corleone's coupe or even some post war Continentals but that never happened.

have this and the Edsel Ford version where I'm still trying to find a replacement hood ornament. Edsels car didnt have side mirrors so I'm thinking FM stuffed up but no they are really not on the original, wonder why?

Googling the car trying to find this brought up the car in some stunning colors.

As always beautiful pics, thanks Rich

Always thought that the delicate front on the original Continentals with the Zephyr grill were very elegant. IMO the 42 and post war Continental grills were clunky.

@bob-jackman Yup, each succeeding years Lincoln tried to "out grill" the previous model. That's what I find so fascinating.
