I have a pretty good but it is missing a passenger door lock.

these are deep cavities.  It is possible to replace it with one from a parts car??  This looks very tricky

Advice and/or experiences (good or bad) 🙁      appreciated

yes it helps to know which model you’re referring to. I have some parts car models and if I have what you need it’s yours, FREE

Replacing those from parts cars would be overly expensive I think. You could probably make two door lock buttons from plastic sprue. You'd need a modeler's razor knife, spare plastic and magnifying glasses. Work slow going by the 'look' of the existing locks on the car models.

Try here:

This is not my auction. It's Manny (Jerseyjunker) known by many here. These may not be exact but should be close and can likely be made to fit. Good luck.

Just a thought as I don’t have a door lock for this model. Try snipping the head of a straight pin off and use that!!   If I recall it would be about perfect size !!
