A very nice colour and clean-looking car. I have just been photographing a bunch of 1940s European cars which are all fender-skirt, front & back: perhaps your idea of a bad dream?
That is a great looking Jada model. I am guessing you will pull it apart and put an actual engine in there instead of their fake ones.
Geno, what modifications, if any, did you do to this model? Did it have the stock wheel covers? Really nice.
@charles-rockett No, not at all Charles. I do like them on some cars, it just depends on the bodystyle. 😊
@bob-jackman Bob, I bought it just as is. I do need to change the amber turn signal lenses to clear. I'm not quite sure yet, what else I'll do with it.😊
That is beyond beautiful! What makes it for me is the color combo and lack of fender skirts. But mostly the color!! I believe it was called India Ivory & Pinecrest Green.
What a nice model and in a beautiful color scheme ! Jada did a fine job with this replica and it is a great addition to your collection.
The 56 convertibles from JADA are rare. On EBAY they have gone from $35, to one like yours with wild wheels sold for $200.
Nice model Geno. Didn't realize Jada had some stock models. Usually they are modified.

@tma1939 I agree Tom. They can do SOME nice 1/24. I have a few that are stock, and to scale. But it seems they're more often than not, caricatures of cars. I guess the little kids like those. But the stock 1/24's I have are pretty decent.
@perrone1 The color does it for me as well.
