Cool model! Looks great in red. Our son had a new '89 back then, a black one. I got to drive it a couple times and, man, it was a fun machine!
nicely timed Grock. I mentioned the other day how I enjoy the range on offer from Hachette et al. Here you've given us a late 80s Japanese sports car and a couple of days ago this Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale 1957 from Leo Models arrived. It was part of their Alfa Romeo 100th Anniversary series from a few years back. Most are hard to find now.
All of the different brandings for these models is confusing at times, but from memory Leo Models was one of the first to start producing them.
Very beautiful automobile. Hard to believe it was produced in 1957.
@geoff-jowett Congrats on the pick up Geoff, that model is gorgeous!
@geoff-jowett Geoff, a friend has a 1/1 Sprint Speciale and I found a model of it in 1/18 scale years ago. This friend also has a Junior Z which I found a model of in 1/43 scale.
wow Bob, the Sprint Speciale would turn a few heads out on the road!@geoff-jowett Geoff, a friend has a 1/1 Sprint Speciale and I found a model of it in 1/18 scale years ago. This friend also has a Junior Z which I found a model of in 1/43 scale.
Alfa Romeo have sold successfully in Australia for decades. Always unique eye catching designs. A work colleague had late 60s Guilia GT just like this one, beautiful car, and there are still plenty around on the road here today. Another Leo Models 1/24
