@john-barry There's so much happening. 1) the creative concept 2) crafting the concept with the lines of textures 3) the characters and narrative, and most impressive, 4) coming-up with hit scenarios every few hours. It's brilliant.
JayBee is without a doubt a shutterbug of the first order....and he spins a decent yarn too.....plus his collection of characters is top shelf!
thanks Jackson......I even have a handful of players that have,so far, managed to retain their actual birth names ...............despite your storied efforts to re-label them
@charles-rockett Don't fall for the offer JayBee; Norway only want you for your Atlantic halibut surf fishing prowess. However, if you feel you must go there I recommend you hold out until they throw in a Nordland boat and trailer hiched to a '59 Volvo Amazon wagon to sweeten the deal.
it`s rare, the proposal that tempts me to desert the old airstream......but a `59 Volvo Amazon wagon?????.....for that I`d even leave the old "300" in the driveway for the next owner.....(and the boat aint too shabby neither )
@jack-dodds With all J.B.'s surf-fishing mates around I think the back of the woody is more likely ?
I dunno know about that Charles.....getting half drowned while making love in the surf as sand gets deposited in every conceivable "nook and cranny" is pretty appealing......ask JayBee, he'll confirm it's high on the eroticameter.

Soooo....if I understand this correctly, your metal/plastic figures have "actual birth names"??? Well alrighty then!......
Quelle horreur ! Leave the 300 for the frosty climes of a Norwegian fjord ?
Is that how Ford of Norway spells their marque? Anyway Charles....I think JayBee is very partial to the Volvo wagon, which btw has a heater, so no frosty climes.
@jack-dodds I did detect a note of sincerity when J.B. said he would leave the Chrysler on the drive for the new owners. But living in Europe, and growing-up with sensible Volvos everywhere, it's hard to fathom.
@charles-rockett I can appreciate your comments about the Volvo Charles but for some reason I have loved the Volvo Amazon/122/123/124 (named the Volvo Canadian here) since the first time I laid eyes on one as a child many years ago. It is a rather simplistic and old fashioned design to be sure but the car just grabs me in a big way that I cannot explain. I would love to have a 123 GT in particular.
@jack-dodds In truth, I absolutely get it. I have a passion for 'sensible' 1940s woody wagons (utility body in old English) and the more sensible, the more appealing. They speak of family, security, permanence and unchanging habits and lifecycles. The Volvo does exactly this, albeit in a more modern setting. The photo's of J.B. fishing in the surf relate directly to packing all the kit into the back of the Amazon and driving off, at the end of a satisfying day. Indeed, I get it.

I must admit,in the photo, the `stream is gussied up some.....in real life (without beer goggles) Nirvana is tarnished......the hood on the 300 is still up (years later) and a pair of Feds stand guard over comings and goings.....I welcome the opportunity to drive another Volvo someday
