tide pools

Excellent set-up here. It's engaging just trying to separate the real from the supra-real.

Thank you Charles......the shot you see above shows an opposite surface order of what it ought to show......I noticed too late that the tidal pool formed by receding water SHOULD have appeared AFTER the smoothed sand (i.e. next in-line to rejoin the surf)

in later photos,I reversed the flat acrylic panel with the sloped one, putting the tide pool next in-line to join the surf

here`s how the textured surfaces SHOULD have lined-up

@john-barry There's so much happening.  1) the creative concept 2) crafting the concept with the lines of textures 3) the characters and narrative, and most impressive, 4) coming-up with hit scenarios every few hours. It's brilliant.

thank you Charles.....with precious little exception, everything I display is shown as "rerun" material......it`s very gratifying that you seem to appreciate my stuff.......the majority of the "adults" here have had it "up to here" with my nonsense and regularly send me offers to relocate to Norway.....

Smile

s more please Jim

@john-barry I've yet to detect 'the adult' among our toy-car fraternity. However, Norway's gain would be car-culture's loss.

@charles-rockett Don't fall for the offer JayBee; Norway only want you for your Atlantic halibut surf fishing prowess.  However, if you feel you must go there I recommend you hold out until they throw in a Nordland boat and trailer hiched to a '59 Volvo Amazon wagon to sweeten the deal.

JayBee is without a doubt a shutterbug of the first order....and he spins a decent yarn too.....plus his collection of characters is top shelf!

Aha!  So it's the old "reverse the flat acrylic panel with the sloped one, putting the tide pool next in-line to join the surf" trick hey JayBee?  I might have known!

Recently crowned OBX Miss Tuna 2023, Marsha Jacobs lies in the sea foam, striking a "come hither" provocative pose while scanning the surf for a glimpse of the legendary JayBee, as she dreams of the two of them replaying the beach love scene in From Here To Eternity.  Failing that, the smitten blonde would settle for a quickie in the back of the Ford Woodie.

@jack-dodds With all J.B.'s surf-fishing mates around I think the back of the woody is more likely ?

Judy's friend, Marsha, has already started stumping for her husband to win this year's tournament.

So you might say that Marsha has a leg up over Judy.

But let's just see who puts their best foot forward first in this competition.

hello Steve.......we do not now,and have never in past memory, had a "Marsha"......are you maybe thinking of "Margaret?"

DSC 0006

Heck, what was I thinking... I just knew her name started with an 'M'..senior moment here..

that`s completely understandable Stephen.....the beloved yet too often mis-named character actor did have a bad moment.....one in which she decided to leave the business for parts unknown......maybe even change her name to "Blanche" or "Evelyn"....unable to narrow down her escape vehicle to a single selection,Margaret smoked thru 4 packs of Marlboros as husband Frank kept re-starting the old GMC (just in case IT might become the chosen chariot)
