Even though it is stunning, just not something I would buy. I long for the days
I long for the days of operating features on diecast cars and the detail that went into them. At least we still have M2 and First Gear that give us something from time to time. Resin just does not cut it for me and especially the price.

I really empathise John.
I've ordered it and cant wait for it to arrive, however, as with the Packard, I'm extremely frustrated at not being able to view at least the interior. Clearly a lot of work has gone into detailing it but it appears so little can be clearly seen. Surely at least opening doors could be added to these resin models.

As a Duesenburg fan of many years I can appreciate this model as a lovely piece of Automotive art - as is the real McCoy.
Resin or die cast metal its all the same to me but alas this gorgeous creation shall not be mine. The price ticket places the purchase out of my reach - there, I've said it. But what I'm not saying is that this Duesenburg model is not worth every penny of the asking price, especially with so few being produced for sale means that costs are, shall we say, amortized over fewer models than if production numbers were open ended. But then the producers would run the risk of unsold models being left on the shelf. The likely consequence of that would, of course, be no money available to produce more like this wonderful creation.
Collectors who can or are willing to stump up the asking price, then congratulations, for you will have in your possession a rare piece of automotive design and rare beauty.
