I`ve had a new-to-me Nikon D850 here at home for several months, just too old-dogish to learn new tricks.
I`ve collected all the online presentations on how to circumnavigate the thousands upon thousands of combination settings.....put `em all neatly in a desktop folder and "put paid" to that phase of the game.
There are too many icons and links on my desktop to be certain, but that folder is most likely still there
The weather this week has been overcast and drippedty.....my ultimately preferred atmosphere for picture taking.....so here, today, are the first few shots from a camera that has effectively hidden most all of its functionality from yours truly
Sharp images John. Looks like you are off to a good start and have not lost any of the ability to create moods using your new gizmo. My daughter owned an old C-10 at one point.
I enjoyed the reflective music.

Thank you for the kind words David
I understand. This year I upgraded to a Nikon D7500. What lens are you using for these pictures?

Looking GREAT! Corral all of those 45.7 stampeding Megapixels and WOW, those images look terrific!

hey Ed.......I shot the first grouping with a
Nikon NIKON 24-85mm F/3.5-4.5G ED VR AF-S

and then switched to this prime lens to gauge what differences I might experience
Nikon NIKKOR AF-S 24mm F/1.8 GED

Thank you Tony....previous owner was shooting RAW mode and the images were approx 135mb.....I switched to JPEG and,in an attempt to make the images small enough to email (25 to 30mb).....I believe these shots will pep up some as I learn the proper settings and locate the focus modes onscreen displays
