FM 1:12 Vette

Here is yet another repaint beat to death, this is the 5th variation of the same model, when are they going to issue something new with all the money they make on repaints!!

Funny, on the latest version look at Tony's pics of the plug wires, now look at the older issues, this time they got it all wrong.

Then read this from a couple of Tonys reviews "Ok, the exhaust ends face inward but no big deal they can be corrected by any amateur" Amateur fix, but obviously above the skill level at FM or they would have fixed it.

What a shame, $595 and they refuse to fix an error thats been known for years.

Rich, Oops! FM is NOT to blame on the exhaust ends...

...the fault is MINE!! I copied some of my original edit from the Marina Blue model that, indeed, had the exhaust tips facing inward. The new Yellow version has the correct and accurate stance on the exhaust ends.

I'm a little rusty too but that does look about right. Ford v-8's are diff from Chevy

A Chevy V-8 will run when wired to a Ford order but falls flat at about 2500 RPM. Doesn't sound the same either. My friend could not figure why his 57 would not run right. We spent quite a while finding the problem. otherwise none of us would know that.

David-If I Remember Correctly

Ford and GM number their cylinders differently. Ford goes side to side and GM goes front to back or vice versa. I know there is a difference but can't remember exactly.
