Seems like forever since I ordered this model, came from California, clean and rust free! I don’t want to make any new enemies here, I have enough already, but I have to say, I don’t purchase many FM’s. In my opinion DM left them in the dust as far as quality, detail, and selection, so although I always wanted a ‘54 in my collection it took awhile to pull the pin. Well I finally did and I’m glad of it, nice proportions, decent detail, and a spot-on ‘50’s blue, a worthy addition!

The 54 Chevy was one of FMs best efforts IMO and the Turquoise the best color. I would have considered this a missing link in my collection without this model. Nice add Kevin.

Nice addition for sure to your collection Kevins.  No worry about making enemies with regard to preferring DM over FM, I'm with you, and many others here are too.  Thing is though, FM did have some homeruns and this '54 Chevy is certainly one of them.  The only flaw I have  with it, is if you look closely to the Dashboard, it's pointing downward.  Other than this flaw, the car is a "must have".  You might also want to consider adding the Black/White Hardtop from FM as well, and also the two Convertibles.  All are great models.

Wow, that is gorgeous Kev. I agree on the DM over FM. I love my FM models, but they did fall behind. They kinda picked it back up toward the end. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Enjoy the time together. Ever moment is precious. 💯😊

This is one of my top favorite models from FM.  I can actually put together a top 5 list for FM but couldn't do it for DM.  They made too many outstanding models to rank them.

@whodeytink I agree, without looking, I believe I can name my FM’s. Including the BelAir I have the Confederate, Dillinger, and the  Bonnie and Clyde. I also had the Capone Cadillac but sold it once I got the overly gorgeous DM ‘32 Cadillac Fleetwood in blue. ( I don’t double up on variations of the same model for lack of space) IMO they are all great models, though actually my reason for obtaining the was for body styles not available from DM. PS; My wife thinks that this is the prettiest “toy” that I own!

I kinda agree! PSS; If I ever did double up it would be this one

@sizedoesmatter I really do like the red one a lot, the gray one is apparently made of unobtainium so it will be kind of fun to try to find one I can afford. It has a dark maroon interior that looks way cool with the gray.

@kevins I had that grey version but sold it as I was running out of space for display.  Wish I had kept it.

My favorite FM model too, a neighbor  had one new in the same blue and as a 10 year old car crazy I loved it!
