Four cool ones- "saved"
All four of these vehicles were found at a thrift shop and were dirt cheap. Yet more surprisingly, they all required very minimal work and parts to get them back up and running again.
Thanks for looking...
1:38 scale Sunnyside/Superior 1949 Ford Woody (SS5737). This model was completely intact with no parts missing whatsoever. However, it sat remarkably high, so I modified it to lower the stance as much as possible. In addition, I detailed the dash, steering wheel, grille and woodwork. What is unusual about this model is it has a chromed V-12 engine! $1

1:24 scale Racing Champions 1995 Ford F-150 Mike Bliss Craftsman Series truck. This model was dusty and needed cleaning. It was missing the two roll bars from the bed. Plastic sprue was used to simulate these. Exhaust pipe ends blackened. $2

1:24 scale Maisto Assembly Line kit 1994 Ford Shinoda Boss Mustang hardtop (#39934). This model was complete in the original sealed box with an extra set of wheels. After opening it, I discovered it lacked a chassis, interior tub and full length exhaust pipes! Luckily I was able to locate and obtain from a generous donor these key parts from a Maisto 1994 Ford Mustang GT convertible. Since the replacement parts were from a convertible, the hardtop is now a usable spare part for another project perhaps. $3

1:18 scale Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. Could not believe what great condition this model was in, clean, no scratches, everything in its place except it was only missing the front spare wheel in the front trunk. $2
