@sizedoesmatter I learned to drive in a '55 Pontiac sedan in those colors (similar to pic #1 below). It was the neighbor's car and as we lived out in the country they let their son and I drive it underage on the quiet roads. It was the Canadian version however, with the shorter Chevy chassis and 6 cyl. engine with 3 on the tree. I know that many Americans find this difference rather odd, but it was our normal. It also came with the 265 V-8 and automatic trans option. Pics 2 and 3 are better examples of why I love this Canadian version so much.

Jack it's not unusual to be attracted to something that we're familiar with. On the flip side, if something is different, we find it odd.
