@geno You got that right Geno, one of my favorites too. My late brother bought a totaled ‘69 Z28 back in 1972 or thereabouts with a perfect drivetrain. He owned a ‘71 Nova that he bought new at the time, silver with black interior with a 307. He changed out the 302 literally in my parents backyard using a come along and an apple tree. I would help him out whenever I could, it was fun, and a good way for us to have time together. It took about a week to finish, and that first ride was amazing, that thing would wind so hard  that it was scary. Back in the day you couldn’t buy a fiberglass cowl hood out of a catalog, so he had a body man friend mold the one from the Z’ onto the deuce and paint black shadowed pearl white rally stripes with black cobwebbing. Unfortunately, like many cars he owned, it ended up totaled. Gee, that was longer than I intended, sorry!

@kevins Thanks guys. Great story Kev. As a matter of fact, MY cousin Kevin bought mine, swapped in a 427 and used it for drag racing down at Kilkare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio. I dont know what happened to it from there.

@geno I would do one up like your cousin, I’m a “rat”, my brother was a “mouse”. Kevins seem to be naturally cool that way!
