Hello all! Question for you concerning a mildly crumpled box.
Is there a way to fix a corner of a DM box that has a minor crumple (ie maybe an iron or something to that affect).
Question Chris. Do you display your cars or your boxes? Just kiddin', OK?
Of course, the boxes! Cars are thrown away
So, when you sell one......
Do you advertise it as "In Mint Box" ???:D
Unfortunately once corrugated is crumpled 'ya can't uncrumple it. The flutes inside the corrugated material are caved in and trying to straighten them is near impossible. If you want to use wooden skewers to insert into corrugated to force the cave in open, that might help a little. But you have to be able to get at the area from an open edge. Applying any heat or water (steam) just warps the paper material and makes things worse.
Somewhat more seriously, Chris....
Has anybody ever contacted DM or FM to see if they have extra boxes of a particular size? (just the box, not the pod) :-/
DM boxes
When I moved in 2000, I was missing 6 boxes. I called DM and they sent me all of the ones I needed - no charge!
