I missed out on the DM model, so I  made my own. This was built from an M2 Z-28 diecast. I did have to remove the 302 and put in the 427, wheel/tire swap plus all the other goodies for the transformation, lol. I even put the key in the ignition for that test drive.🙂

The DM model.

My creation.

WOW Geno! An absolutely fantastic job! Looks every bit, and then some, as good as the DM car! I like the key fob but the engine steals the show! WOW!

Geno I actually like yours better. Can't quite find the right word why. Crisper?!

PS. I just had another lengthy look at the photos, that is an extraordinary build Geno. Just the engine changeover alone!?

@geoff-jowett Thanks Geoff, and everyone for the kind words. After I got this done and was comparing it to the DM model is when I noticed that the DM model has oversized headlights. I knew something was off but could never really put my finger on it. I'm happy with how it turned out. This is how it started out. I bought two. I liked the Gold, plus the other for this conversion. The Gold one I did change the interior color to parchment to better compliment the exterior color..🙂
